Topic: Does anyone know where I can find a dvd converter?

Where can I find a free converter tool that converts avi to ipod compatable and to DVD? I have this one know but I have the trial version (it's really expensive, but good quality =[ ) so it says 'Trial Version' and I wanted to burn a DVD for my friend but I don't want it to say 'Trial Verion' on the DVD when she watches it. Anyone have any ideas?

Theres a software program (trial, but no watermark just a beg screen when the program is opened and at the end of the task) its called "Any Video Converter" and its fast and converts to any video format, the download is a trial version and its under 30 dollars to purchase when I last checked I have used it for over 2 months and it works great you just have to click "no thanks" when asked to upgrade to pro but the more I use it I have to wonder how much better the pro version is some day I will google up the download page and read the specs on the upgrade and see how many features are added to convince me to buy it,but for the time being I will keep useing the trial version and keep clicking "no thanks"when promted to upgrade smile
