Topic: "Activation Noise" with my Crybaby wah

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone knew how to fix a minor problem that is driving me crazy.  I have an american fender strat with standard pickups, a marshall half stack (not vacuum) and a cry baby wah pedal.
When I use the wah on a clean setting, I can hear the darned thingmaking noises as I press it down and up with my foot.  It's barely noticeable when I use distortion.
Any ideas?

There's a small wheel inside the CryBaby. Apply a small dab on grease on the wheel and your problem should go away. You'll need to do this everytime you change your battery or if you're using a DC power source, reapply the lube everytime you hear the faintest beginning of 'squeeks'.

Give everything but up.
