Topic: Can THE GREAT SUPERBANDS remember their songs playing live?
STRANGE THREAD, but:
Take the "dinosaur bands", like the EAGLES, ROLLING STONES, DYLAN, and more like U2, ZZ-top, Radiohead in fact the really great bands who perform together since 25-40 years?
Is Lou Reed still able to play "Berlin"?
Would BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN, when you meet him in a bar be able to sing his fantastic sog THE STREETS OF PHILADELPHIA?
They have got so many hits, but when they perform, are they still able to perform that and that famous hit?
Like the Rolling Stones: "satisfaction", "ruby Tuesday", "paint it black"
1) do they still know the riffs, licks and lyrics?
2) OR do they need again a couple of days for rehearsal?
WHAT DO YOU THINK.
I think NO, when you ask them to play AND REPRODUCE THE LYRICS.
- MY GUITAR PLAYS EVERY STYLE = BLUES, ROCK, METAL, so I NEED TO LEARN HOW TO PLAY IT.
