I'm not sure if I'm completely satisified with the lyrics, but here goes.  I have a tabbed intro and solo, but I don't know how to post tabs.  I wish I could sing better, and hopefully soon I'll try to record some of my stuff.

Well my intent was to get a feeling of how mankind messed things up, and thus began a long dark journey through the ages denying Jesus and trying to live life as if humans are the highest power in the universe.  Of course, as the chorus goes, God sent His one and only son Jesus to die on a cross for us and pay the price for the sins of the whole world.

I was taught by Catholic Nuns at school.
I was always so perplexed by the apple theory ? They { The nuns }  told us Eve {" The very bold woman } lol tempted
Adam with an apple. They even had a picture of Adam and Eve in the classrooms depicting same. there was a worm hanging out of the apple ? another perplexity for me as, if i was giving an apple to someone id make sure it was the finest pick of the tree!
Is it any wonder i was gobsmacked when i finally realized what this story was really about. Temptation?  OR the Art of making love ? OR procreation?
Ya must admit if God made anything better then the second one mentioned  here he kept it for himself! lol. Sure if one of my nuns read this now, she would have me down on my knees saying the rosary for forgiveness. Oh how innocent we were!
