Another new kid on the block...

Hi everyone!  this is my 1st visit to Chordie, and I like what I see.

Now that the weather is determined to keep me off the golf course, I've turned to my other great love - Wimmin!
Sorry, did I say wimmin? - I meant to say playing my guitar, of course.

I'm one half of a garage band. We play, on average, once or twice a year.  Occassionally, we even get paid for what we do - but we mostly enjoy just havin' a blast.
Thanks to the wonderful gift of midi files, we get away with all sorts of tomfoolery.  Isn't science wunnerful?

We play a pretty varied selection - mostly stuff that we really like.
We're about to embark on learning a bunch of Chris Rea songs, and Lo!! the first song I search for a tab on Chordie isn't there i.e. "Let's Dance"    Just my luck.

I'll just have to work it out the old fashioned way then - unless some kind person can come up with the goods.

PS  the '48' in my name doesn't refer to my waist size...... yet
