Topic: DROP C

I'm learning a few Nickelback songs that require Drop-C tuning. I can Drop-D fine using my chromatic tuner, how can I get Drop-C right using the same type of tuner.

I can't find the right tone by ear.

What type of tuner is it? You need one that will go 2 whole steps down for drop C.

You can of course hold the string on the 2nd fret and tune to D. Played open it will be C.

I tuned mine to Drop C so I could play Rosenrot by Rammstein... My Strat with stock strings didn't like it too much. Every time I touched the string it got looser. It sounds interesting though, nice and sludgy.

Now Drop D, it handles that just fine...
