Topic: Ukulele - does it fit?

Hi everybody.
I've been playing ukulele for a few months. I'm really enjoying it, but i'm having problems with some chords. Is it with ukulele as with other guitars, you buy one that "fits" your hand? I have a cheap sopran ukulele and i have really big hands (for a girl) so i'm wondering if i should have an ukulele with a bit wider neck or something?

Hello idaida and welcome to Chordie. Comfort is the ultimate factor in deciding on which size uke you wish to play and excel on. Pretty generic advice but it's true. Here's a helpful uke site that caters to all ukes and various tunings. Good luck.

I had the same problem. I now own a tenor ukulele ,problem gone.
