Topic: Ebmaug5- does anybody ever use this chord?

I've worked out a Teddy Thompson song- "In My Arms" by listening to and watching the acoustic version. During the solo, he uses a chord which I've recently worked out to be Ebmaug5, which seems like a pain in the backside to play, or get anywhere from. Does anybody really use this chord?

Here are some choices to play the mystery chord. I've been playing guitar for over 25 years, have studied extensively classical guitar and jazz guitar, and i've never once encountered this chord. It's probably a  basic, dimished, split chord of some sort but without knowing the specific song from which this mystery chord is derived here are some possible ways to play this booger of a chord;

Good luck, play around with the possibilities and go with the one that sounds the best!.............
