Topic: I,m Missing You Again

This is my first real song I,ve written since joining Chordie.Feeling down in the dumps last night and came up with this.Its about remembering old times with who ever. Could be your dog or an old friend or an old lover or an old guitar.Yer choice.

This song is tinged with sadness.

Sure theres days i feel like the "Last Rose of Summer" faded and jaded. lol
But today aint one of those days. So do as i do , Head out with the Girlettes!
or Lads. Sing a little , dance a little, drink a wee dram, tell a joke, chat with friends.

Its a Good song!

"I'm Missing You Again" is now posted at MySpace for those that would like a listen.It was written because I miss my son and the good times we had together when he was younger and how I wish I could see more of him to build more memories.
As all that know me say"In time he will come around" but it's a tough wait.

You have definitely got the recording bug now it seems. A good recording again and a sad and poignant song which I hope your son has heard, though on re-reading your last post, maybe not, but in time perhaps.

I do not know your situation but time heals and there is a chance if he hears this it will some way towards mending the rift.

Been concentrating on figuring out recording and my singing sad so now it's time to write something for Russells contest.I'm guessing there are lots of entries with an Oct 1 deadline.

I have wondered if when someone is listening to anyones songs they actually listen for the meaning of the song. Other than the Chordie members that is.

Glad you enjoyed it. The strings were done off my Yamaha PSR2000 a great keyboard with lots of toys built in.

Yup ... I crawled out of the woodwork again :-) I'm gonna try and hang around longer this time around.
