got a TKL SG case and it smells of some chemichal that reeks of Play-Doh-like nastiness, need tips on de-stinkyrizing plz

Patchouli oil, and tons of it. I can wear my clothes 6-10 more days without having to wash them simply by smearing the magical patchouli oil on the stinky places. If it works on my malodorous clothes, I'm sure it'll rid your guitar case of that play-doughy aroma.........

RG, go get you some of that stuff they use to de-stink tennis shoes. Give it a good spray, close up and let it set for a while. Also, and I got this from my wife, get you a sheet of fabric softener, the kind that goes into the cloths dryer, and put that into the case. I'll take a sheet or 2 place it under the seat of my truck and it keeps it fresh smelling.
