Topic: most popular song on chordie?

I look at almost all the members songbooks and I have noticed that most  of the members place American Pie  on their lists.could this mean that it is the most popular song on chordie? I would like too here some others thoughts on this.    dino

I would think that maybe is.
If the words to Knocking on heavens door were longer and more forgetful like american pie then that could be high on the list also.

I would think this is because apart from easy to play ( I think) they have it mostly for the lyrics as they are so long.

I agree, I think second would be any one of several Credence Clearwater Revivial songs, I see them all the time in people's song books.
