Boy upyerkilt, you certantly opened a can of Woop-Ass on this Topic.  However, I have to say it turned into a great thread, and as you said, I think  everybody, gave their opioin,

I dont think he killed it,I belive it has evolved like all the other forms of music. Ido know I love and miss alot of the old country artists.      dino
