Topic: Help Please

Can anyone out there help me with a song that contains the lyric " Time to be planting again " or same song "The young auctioneer" its by a female country singer  and it talks about losing his pick up and a price tag on 40 odd years.  where is the fruit of our toil, are all parts of the song. Its driving me crazy PLEASE HELP!!  Thanks so much. Acousticlady.

The songs starts:-  He stands to the side as the young auctioneer, sells off the pickup and then the John Deer,

The singer is a very warm deep voiced Country female singer and I am going nutty trying to find out who she is.

Thank you for your help I have now found the song I was looking for It is called ;-  " Time to be planting again " by Leslie Eliel .  I would recommend it to any Country/ballad lovers out there.

Hi acousticlady and cameronkl7--the song "Time to Be Planting Again" is mine, from an album I did around 1990 called Shakedown (which I still sell out of my basement, basically). I'd be happy to provide you with a lyric sheet if you'll e-mail me. (I had to register to this site to be able to respond to you and I'm not sure how it works---I think you will be able to see my email link, right?)
