i've got to agree with kap54, you do have a way with words, i just wonder if you wrote it the way i played it?

take my word for it, writing songs is only half the fun, recording them takes you to the climax [specially if people like it]

Another good song from you which I finger picked and it sounded good to me. As with the others I liked the lyrics too.

Now we have had two songs from you but nothing else so please let us know a little about yourself. Do you play guitar and/or another instrument? Have you been playing long? Do you intend to record your songs for us to hear?

Now this is a little naughty of me but I have to do it.

I asked William to tell us a little about himself and he replied by private e-mail but I do not have his permission to use it so if he shouts at me I will remove it.

I am even more amazed at the quality of his songs after I read this. What do you think?

No i don`t play the guitar at all i just got the chords from a book and with
trial and error and a lot of frustration i finally managed to get the right
chords.i play drums in a little band back home but mostly i just sing. i`m 40, 
6`3 ,14st and live in derry city in the north of ireland on the border with
donegal.likes..football man utd fan, country music, meeting people and writing a
song or two.thankfully i`ve met a lot of the people i`ve always wanted to
meet,ricky skaggs,gene watson, garth brooks  and reba mcentire. Been very lucky
to have been in the right job or right place.Been a coach driver and took the
Barcelona team on tour here when they where in ireland. Actually got to sit in
the dug-out with them during matches and be in the dressing room at
half-time.Anything you want to know just ask.thanx for the feedback and keep in
touch.

Folks I've been gone for a while as i had other more important things to do as here in Ireland we are in a recession since 2007 and finding bits of work to keep the family going was first and foremost. Well what brought me back was something Phil told me back in July 2008 when he said writing the song was half the fun but recording it was even more fun and i'm glad to say that i have done a demo of Here Comes Mr Heartache on My space and take a listen and see what you think. Cheers wmcdrum. Oh great to be back and i've started writing again so thanks guys.
