Topic: "Life Goes on Just the Same"
This song is about high school romance, how it comes and goes and how kids manage to go on even though they thought thier hearts were going to break at the time. Oh yeah, pieces and parts of the song are from my life but they didn’t happen exactly the way the song goes. I have never known anyone named Lucinda that I can recall, although one of my favorite songs is Righteously by Lucinda Williams. I do not remember a Teresa while I went to high school although I have worked with a few since and all were very cool. While my dad did mention he applied for a job in New Mexico when I was a kid my family never moved there but I have visited there a few times and plan on going to visit my daughter who lives there very soon.
