Hello Barneyc - "Walk Right In" was made famous by the Rooftop Singers in 1963, but it was written by Gus Cannon way back in 1930.
Cannon was one of those guys who was around forever and played with everyone, but lived and died in relative obscurity. His primary instrument was banjo and he did some recordings with a group he called Cannon's Jug Stompers. He also worked with lots of other blues and ragtime and minstrel performers on the early chitlin curcuit.
There are lots of classic folk songbooks for sale that include 'Walk Right In' but I couldn't locate chords on the net.
I bet if you do some digging at some Roots Music sites you can find someone who is proud to know all of Cannon's stuff.
HI there, I have got a version of this song the chords are:-
G E7 A D7 G C9 G E7 A D7
i hope you can use this, if you cant play a C9 play a C7 instead.
Cheers, JimmyAdie
