Topic: Tips for an intermediate

I've been playing guitar for about 8-10 months I can do basic chord progressions and scales. I can also do leads on rock and blues. But what i noticed is that when i try to do a rock solo or anything a little bit hard, I can only make out a few notes... any tips?

Although there is no substitue for practice, practice and then more practice I think that in your case a few lessons from a qualified teacher (or an experienced musician )would be of benefit. I feel you need to have some one to actually see what you are doing and listen to your playing to advise you and to help you progress.
