Thirteen Days or The Sensitive Kind by J. J. Cale. Songbird by Oasis. Mary Jane's Last Dance by Tom Petty. Stand by Me by Ben E. King. Knocking on Heaven's Door by Bob Dylan. Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd. There are more, these are the first I could play complete. Hope it helps. smile

Re: Easy acoustic chord songs

Lots of good songs in the key of G (G, C,  & D)

"Wild Night" by Van Morrison is a good one w/ G, C, D, and Em
"I'm Down",  by The Beatles also G, C, D
"Story of My Life" by Social Distortion is basically G, C, D
"Every Rose Has Its Thorn" also basically G, C, D w/ some Em -- easy strum pattern

Peace.

Re: Easy acoustic chord songs

Are you or is anyone else going to be singing the songs as you play them? If so, then you will need to play the songs in the key the person is singing in. This makes a HUGE difference in how (what chords) the song is played. Most any song can be transposed into different chords to match the singers voice and this is important you one to learn.Go to the "SONG" tab and you can pull up  a huge selection of easy songs and most will have a transpose function on the right hand side of the page for you to change the chords. Remember, the musican plays for the singer - not the other way.
