Re: Omie Wise - Trad. / Greg Graffin

Hi kev25811 & welcome to chordie!

This is why I love the 'Song Request' section of chorie's forum - - - it's fun to learn about all sorts of songs and artists that are new to me.

Wow - 'Omie Wise' is a traditional ballad with a rich history and multiple versions.  It is one of those tragic stories of murder and injustice that fits so well in the world of traditional music.  It has been covered by Doc Watson, Pete Seeger, Bob Dylan, and many many others.

Can't say that I found exactly what you seek (full lyrics and chords or tabs), but I did find a ton of fascinating info by just Googling 'Omie Wise lyrics chords'.
Here is a little bit of what I found:

Re: Omie Wise - Trad. / Greg Graffin

Hey kev25811, came across this and I've had a similar problem with finding any music at all for Omie Wise, let alone just Greg Graffin's version. I'm working on tabs/chords for the song and should be done with it fairly quickly.

Cheers
