Topic: problems with squeir plz help

hey

i have a problem with my "squier bullet strat stratacaster"

well its kinda my fault, but here is my problem...
i took my electric gutair to skool as i needed to play it...
i left it in a gutair room where i belived that it would be safe...
but i was wrong...
somebody came into that room...
and messed with my guitar...
my input jack was stuffed up..
and it fell out...
well i fixed that and whent to play and i noticed that...
my pickups had been played with...
i had to move them around...
in the end i had to take my pick guard completely off..
and fix them up!...
now i have a really bad problem with sound...
i get really bad reverb when ever...
i turn it up or put my distortion pedal in...
it kills me with the sound...
VERY VERY EMBARRESING WHEN I HAD TO PLAY IN FRONT OF OVER 700 PEOPLE!!!!!!!


any help would be greatly apresheated!!!

if you can learn bass in 15 minutes
then why do i play the guitar???

Good morning, at least here already in Europe.
I like to know how old you are. Not because of statistics, but more to know your budget.
Probably you still go to school??!! I think guitar school. It's important, because we speak here about money to buy another or to change parts, like pick-ups, tuners.

yes still in school...
buget is a small problem,
i don't really want to spend any money on the repair if possible,
as i am trying to save up,
for a les paul, so i hope that someone,
maybe able to give me a simple answer,
that i could try myself,
if not to difficult
or endangering the life,
of my first gutair,
for the reason of centimental value..
thank you for your help...

Rewire it. go to fender.com and download a wiring schematic for a squire and redo your wiring. use new wiring and pots, switch & caps should cost you no more than $40.00 american if that.

What they say above sounds right too me,I just want to add do not take your GUITAR TOO  SCHOOL and leave it where it can be messed with by other people. That also means any public place you may take it.
