EASY TO MAKE A NON GIBSON "GIBSON" or NON FENDER "FENDER"

I am convinced that it exists, except for the China fakes, to buy a cheap GIBSON copy.
There are hundreds of cheap FENDER style guitars.
Like STAGG, remove the neck, replace it by a Fender neck (if you look on eBay, you can find a Stratocaster neck, fretted and with tuners, I saw one for 60$), pick-ups, maybe but not necessary, you change the neck, it sais FENDER, you ask 500$, to an enthusiast YOUNGSTER, who is BLINDED by the body, and the neck with the Fender logo, probably you need to remove all traces, leading to STAGG.
I bought 2 years ago a "CHINESE GIBSON", for 250$ (expensive transport) = 160€. A guy I know, INSISTED TO BUY THIS GUITAR, I admit, it was a beautiful top, and the difference was the headstock, having a similar but different shape, I tried the guitar, she wasn't bad at all, so I TOLD HIM THAT THIS WAS A FAKE GIBSON, but he was blinded by the LOGO, and before I knew, he offered me even 500€, I refused, but he insisted so much and gave me 300€, even telling him that this was too much, he just wanted to IMPRESS his friends, he changed the pick-ups, and placed EMG'S. He is still REALLY HAPPY, and indeed, he played that guitar with EMG pick-ups, not bad at all.

I AM WRITING THIS BECAUSE I AM CONVINCED IT HAPPENS, AND MAYBE MORE THAN WE THINK, who is able to control second hand sites, even eBay. AND WHAT CAN YOU DO? I think 90% stays happy. IT'S MORE LIKE A WARNING AND TO ASK HOW TO AVOID THIS MALPRACTICE?
