Topic: I NEED HELP

Maybe this is real personal, about private "stuff", but I have nobody to ask about an opinion.
I really would love some advise, some information, and some friendship, it's a black period in my life, and I should love to see an answer how you should handle this.

Yesterday, I was looking for "a guitar value" to see the value of an original GIBSON LP CUSTOM 1968, YES ONE NINE SIX EIGHT. Having a second custom (1978) I wanted the Black Beauty equipped with single coils, like it was in the early fifties. Got my '68 humbuckers back, but I don't find them. A 75% chance that my ex-girlfriend trow them in the garbage.
So who can help me to find another pair? A '68 Gibson LP custom = 15.000-20.000$, a '69 = 4000-5000$
Can somebody give advise or look where I can find these '68 pick-ups back?
THANKS A LOT

Re: I NEED HELP

DINO48, A miracle happened. Saturday evening, my daughter (She's a real beauty, go to myspace, search gitaardocphil, and you'll see some pictures of her, give me your opinion on this big_smile  lol)
and boyfriend came to visit me, their OLD, CRIPPLE DADDY, and he asked a flashlight, to come back 30 minutes later with a 1/2 plastic cube with a paper, GIBSON LP CUSTOM P-94 (= P-90, but bigger to fit in the cavity of a humbucker), he went back and 15 minutes later he had found the other 1/2 cubus, with TWO, a little bit rusty humbucker pick-ups.
Is this still NORMAL?
- They ask up to 10.000$ for an original pair 1968 LP custom humbuckers. A 1968 custom: price range 15.000-20.000$
- A 1969 or 1970 custom, 5000-8000$
