Great job badeye. Looks like your getting the hang of making your songs look all 'purdy'. Very realistic story, well told.
Good Song Badeye,
A lady i know through the Womens Movement, lost her young husband in the Congo War. In the mid sixties.
She never did quite get over it. Also never remarried. War is such a useless waste of life.
Well done.
Old Doll.
hey badeye,
very emotional song, well written
good topic, too, i understand it very well. you have very interesting ideas for songs, things people would care about, and the chords are really fitting
well done
Hi Badeye,
Nice moody song, well done. When are we likely to hear a recording of this one please?
Roger
Thank for your comments Southpaw,Old Doll, Liam, and Roger, I do have my diploma from the "Roger Guppy song
Posting Acedemy" and it sure comes in handy, Thanks Roger.
hope you all have a great day...Badeye.
Badeye ,
Excellent work , I'm rather fond of dark stuff myself , I think it reveals a lot about the writer's life experiences .
Expert use of minors and sevens too .
I do a lot of " dark " stuff ,
that I have written over the years . I have found that with the right chords , just the intro will set the mood .
Sometimes at jams I will start right out with three dark ones in a row , then lighten things up with some good loud classic rock , then
have someone ask me to do some more of the other ......
Again , excellent work !!!
such a sad song badeye, flows very well and the rhyme is excellent. i love story songs and this gives the background then the hook at the end. bet it sounds different to the way i played it!
great stuff
phill
Thank you, very encouraging.

Hi Badeye,
Thanks for bringing this back up.
This may be a dark, slow number but it tells an all to truthful story.
Right or Wrong...war sucks.
This is an older post....Do you have it recorded?
Nice Write:)
