Anyone had the BFTS hoodoo done to their guitar or bought one already setup this way? What's it like?

hellAll! i'm a new enter, an italian new enter. i started to play guitar 2 years ago i've got a classic and an acousti uitar cand i'm looking for an electric one. I am looking for something not too much expensive (max 150 euros).

Well if you're after a Buzz Feiten tuned electric you need a Washburn and a Korg DT7 tuner.

Yale checkout Washburn's WI64PRO and WI67PRO in fact any of their Idol range that has a VCC knob on it. You can use this not only to switch from single coil (think 60s solos) to humbucker (think 70s riffs) like my Brawley does with a push/pull pot switch but can blend for a sound anywhere inbetween. Tempted by them myself...

Correction there, it's two VCC knobs that set each pickups voice level, then you switch between them. Great for switching between rhythmn and lead playing although the single coil voice is weaker.

WHAT KIND OF GUITAR YOU WANT? ACOUSTIC or ELECTRIC. I've post several topics about good and decent guitars. If you go ELECTRIC, I would look on eBay.com (first eBay.it). BUT before you do that MY ADVICE IS=
- Go to online music stores. www.zzounds.com www.musiciansfriend.com www.music123.com you select electric, and they are ranked as best sellers. Change that and go from the lowest price to the highest price. The same for acoustic guitars. Today there are some LOW-BUDGET GIBSONS, but it will still cost you between 400-900$
- Look and compare
- 90% of these guitars you will be able to find them on youtube, allowing you to hear them in action.
- If you found one, it is worth to buy one straight from the USA, why $$ versus €€.
