Hi all, I live in Fleetwood Lancs England and I started playing guitar back in 1958 when I was 14. I am now 63 and after a few stops and starts on electric and then on classical I'm back playing again after an absence of maybe 10 yrs. I am rubbish but I get a lot of pleasure out of playing and it gives me an oportunity to set myself some goals now I have retired.

Had my hour of practise Badeye! "Dressing gown/ Guitar? Some how the 2 dont gel!lol. Trying so hard to learn how to pick? I never seem to get it right? any tips would be so welcome!

Deep Purple now there's a band I would love to see live. I say call in sick and go. Seems like our chances of seeing bands we grew up with are far and few between these days.
I am still amazed I got to see "The Band" a few years ago. a concert I'll always remember.
Hey Old Doll the only french i had was in high school some 30 years ago. Only thing i remember is ferme la port which i think is close the door? Anyway I failed french class but still made it through high school.Someone in Ireland needs to turn off the rain switch and turn on the sun switch.

I live in Gleneden Beach, OR. Started playing six years ago, started singing/songwriting and playing everyday about ten months ago...I'm 25 and picked up the guitar through a pretty dark phase of my life, the darkness left but the guitar stayed!

hello everyone. chris here from north-east wisconsin. been playing 30 plus years and STILL don't have it down. the frustration factor is still up at times but thanks to all the good people here, the "i give up" factor is down to zero. still glad i have a day job. any other "cheese heads" out there into acoustic folk, put up a post.
yah im from south east wisconsin yah and im 12 been playing for a year now. My 8 year old brother is learning the drums. I also am a cheese head and love the packers. Brett farve just retired though a couple days ago.

Hi everyone, originally from Paisley now living in Elgin n/e Scotland and I am 60.
bought 1st guitar 4 months ago, second one (electric) 2 months later, 38 yrs old. Living in Richfield, Utah, 8 yrs now. Self teaching, but luckily I can read music, mainly due to some piano lessons when young.
