Topic: Guitar with wider neck

Hello,
I am looking for a guitar with a little wider neck. My daughter has a very cheep start guitar that has a wider neck and I have a Takamine Gs330s which is with in the return window and has a smaller neck. I find its harder to get my fingers into postion on it as quickly as the wider neck guitar.

Can I get some suggestions from people who already have a wider neck guitar on which one I should try? I am in the $300 and below budget.

Of course my brother won't let me play his $6,000 Martin that has a wider neck (and I don't blame him)

Thanks

I think classical guitars are cool but I want to stay with an Acoustic guitar.

Seagull's are reckoned to have a slightly wider neck.

Re: Guitar with wider neck

I use a Guild GAD series and I find the neck rather wide & comfortable.

Check out the GAD-50. Great guitar, wouldn't trade it for anything:

There are other more affordable Guild models as well. Try one at your guitar store next time you're there.

Happy pickin'
