I love me some bluegrass. Picked up a mando about a year ago and can finally play 5 chords (wow). I play six string and have been trying to get to learning mando for... well... about a year now.
I would like to get together and jam but Im going to bet your nowhere near Spokane WA.
If you have any tips I would love to here them.

Top of the morning, afternoon, or evening depending on what timezone you're in, I'm elvenjedi I play fiddle (<u>Not</u> violin) guitar, and some mandolin and piano. I enjoy styles of music and I hate coffee (stop Starbucks before they take over the world!)

Yes I attemp to play the mandoline. Mainly Irish tunes but have learnt R.E.M.s losing my religion. Lovely instrument to play but you really need someone on a guitar to balance it out a bit and make it easier to learn. I think unless you are a well accomplished mandoline player it sounds a bit flat on its own!!
Have also got a lovely 6 string banjo which is interesting to play. Strung the same as a guitar!!
