   I sound like a broken record but here i go again. This is a very well written song. I'm getting, once again, an indication of John Prines' influence in your writing style, particularily in this song. Hope your wife isn't asking, "so who's number 2, 3, etc....?"haha  Thanks for sharing.

Hey Toney - You know it's funny because I was thinking about that after I wrote the song with a little worry but she took it as it was intended, and no there is no number 2 or 3 unless you count my daughter and dog. smile

Nice little number, I may be playing it differently to you, I played it laid back style on acoustic, just strumming, and your right; you can have a pig of a day, but why burden your better half with it, anyway you probably cant get a word in edge-ways with her telling you about the crap day she's had.

Very very nice, Jeff.  Would love to hear your interpretation - I like the chord pattern, but haven't yet found a melody that suits.  I realize that I haven't written a Valentine song yet for this year . . .
