Topic: HOME RECORDING IS EASY!!!!!

Hey I just recorded a bunch of tracks in my basement and have been selling CDs at my shows.  I am an acoustic solo performer and after buying the Lexicon Alpha desktop interface, I used Cubase recording software to lay down all the tracks (guitars, bass, drums, keys and vocals) by MYSELF!  If you are interested in hearing a few tracks that I have done check out my myspace page at:

Hello Mike & welcome to chordie!

Enjoyed hearing your originals on MySpace Music.
Nice covers, too (but the covers might get you into trouble with the copyright hounds).

Check out the Songwriting Forum here for original material from a bunch of chordians.

Re: HOME RECORDING IS EASY!!!!!

Hi Mike
I listened to the song "jealousy" did you record this all by yourself? Using all features you find in Cubase?
I play since years and have since 3 months a BOSS BR 600, still complicated. But I hope to put soon a song on myspace. Do I need an extra software to create MORE EFFECTS, like as if there are 5 different guitars playing?
