Topic: Asus4add13(no5)...

i don't really know how to play this chord:
E 5
A 5
D 7
G 7
B 7
E 5
it's not that hard to play A shape chords on lower frets and i'm sure that i can be able to play them if i practice harder than now but this chord makes me feel that there's another way to play it and i don't have to put my middle finger, ring finger and little finger on seventh fret of D,G and B. do you know how can i play this chord?
thanx.

Re: Asus4add13(no5)...

It is just a plain old D major.

Is anything really made up of zeros and ones??

Re: Asus4add13(no5)...

i know. but hey did i ask about different names of this chord?:D

Re: Asus4add13(no5)...

I know a lot of folk play it with their 3rd finger barring the 2nd, 3rd,and 4th strings.

Sounding the first string is not important, muting it with the underneath of your 3rd finger is fine. According to the experts.
