Topic: I write songs too

Hello there,
My name is John Walding, I reside in the town of Bleheim New Zealand.
I,ve been writing and playing my own material now for almost twenty years. None of my material has been recorded.
None of my material has been copy written, it is free to any who may wish to use either the complete song, or use the lyrics and provide their own tune.
You are free to use this material, however, I would ask you to include my name as the originator of any material that you wish to use.
Please accord me the courtesy of informing me of any song material that you have recorded, or are performing.

Regards & cheers
John Walding

Re: I write songs too

Hello John & welcome to chordie and chordie's forum!

Glad to make you acquaintance.  Would love to see some of your compositions.  This song writing forum is a lot of fun.  I also write for fun and personal satisfaction - it keeps me going and provides a worthy challenge.  James

Re: I write songs too

Hi John,

I too would like to welcome you to Chordie and I am looking forward to seeing, and playing, some of your songs, so I do hope that you will post some on the Forum for us to play. I get a great deal of pleasure playing the new songs that are posted here, so please join in and enjoy Chordie.

I also run a MySpace called "Friends of Chordie" exclusively for Chordie members it a place where you can put recordings of your songs for Chordie members to hear if you have nowhere else to post them. Click on the 'Website' tag under my avatar and you can hear some of the other members recordings.
