Hi Forum.
As my own pc has blanked again. I would like to place this piece here.
Its for  a very special Person in my life. Will it ever have music? Id like to think so.
Maybe when My Pc returns it will take on a life force.
For you my Soul friend, for the best christmas and new year in a very long time.

Strong Boxes.

Strong boxes hold his words
written over years
Stories songs in poetry
signed sometimes with tears.

Ooooh, Old Doll - this is fabulous.  It shall be even fabulouser once you get some music to along with the lyric.  Look forward to seeing this one grow and take on a life of it's own!  James

This is a great song Old Doll. Of course, everytime you post one I like it.... I'm kind of having a hard time feeling the rythym of this line:

some have gathered music
other memories left to rust.

Maybe you're pronouncing it mem-reez? Anyway the whole thing is great, of course my favorite part I posted at the beginning. Thats an awesome line.

I bet i scared you this hour. My sleeping pattern is wrecked from all the partying over the christmas. So i do what i do at all hours " I write" We had a very small flurry of snow last night.
Just not quite enough to make a snowball, but they are expecting more today.

Hi Forum.
Someone called {John White }has very kindly send me chords and a beautiful melody
for my song "Strong Boxes" Late last evening.
Its really lovely. But now i have to wait for my own PC to be repaired. I have tried copy and paste but to no avail.
Maybe this Old Doll needs pc classes for the new year?.

Hi Helena and John White,

I have just given this a run through and I like the result. The lyrics can very easily transposed to the male perspective and I like the chord sequence particularly the C, F, D of the 12th line.
