I am looking for the lyrics for a song I heard a long time ago. I believe either Judd Strunk or Tommy Hunter sang it (or both). I am not sure of the title but it is about a blind man named Silas and a generla store. The chorus goes:
The old man was blind and he could help you find
anything that you were looking for
And he knew where you stood by the creaking of the wood of the floor
of the general store.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hello barboy - I've tried some creative web surfing to get a line on the song you describe. But alas - nothing has popped up yet. Perhaps if you found a forum specializing in Country Music, somebody could point you in the right direction?
I often view these song requests as puzzle or a challenge to solve - but this one has me frustrated . . . hope you can find it somewhere. Please post a reply back to this forum if you solve the puzzle.
