Topic: arlo guthrie lyrics only

i know the cord tabs - just cannot rememeber all the verses or the actual title of the song . but it starts with " i went up for my interview on the forth day of july - personal man he interviewd me , nearly made me cry . he made me fill in forms , until i shook with fear - about the color of my toilet rolls - and is my cousin queer ."


i know another verse - and as i say - i know the chords ( am - c) but lost the rest of the lyrics a few years ago . any help would be great .

any resemblance to my songs sounding anything like the original is highly unlikely.

I am unfamiliar with that particular song, but Arlo Guthrie's official website has lots of lyrics and chords:

Perhaps you can find it there . . . looking at his site, I was happy to see A.G. is still touring and performing.

thank you both so much for that ! so very much appreciated . i must be getting old not to remember who it actually was . i used to play a lot of donavan and guthrie and so - many years later got it mixed up . many - many thanks to you both once again.

Great song - to comply with copyright restrictions and other cosmic constraints, I edited out the full lyric from a previous posting to this thread.

Glad that ian j was able to identify the song and also post a link to bettylou's site for you evsyator!
