Topic: who do speak to about my work?

i have done a few songs that i'm about to record in the next month. some people have said that i should put them forward to some producers/publishers of some sort. i'm not sure who is out there to send my work to or what steps i need to take after recording onto cd.I dont want to be a pop star or any thing, i'm in a band & love doing what i do but wouldnt mind just selling cd's & would love even to do sound tracks to documentries/adverts/appeals.do you have any info/advice you can give me or am i being unrealistic & wasting my time?

never think, no matter what age you are that you are being unrealistic or wasting time, if you think your songs/tunes are good enough for anything, then I would say go for it.
