Topic: I Never Let You
Some parents are blessed with kids who excel at all they do. These kids grow up and become the future leaders of tomorrow shaping the future of our world for generations to come. I truly believe those kids were brought to earth as part of some sort of alien invasion where the real babies were replaced at birth with these alien mutated genetic clones. The rest of us, the other 99.999 precent of the world, have big grand schemes of how our kids will go down some similar path but somewhere along the way something may, and usually does, derail the path to greatness and it is the parent’s job to keep these type of derailments from happening. Parents usually find out, when their kids are much older of course, that their great protective plans had long been circumvented. This song is about that protection and that protection of this kind is more often than not useless. Before I go into the song I have to confess first that while the things I mention in the song are what parents should protect their kids against t osome degree I was not so successful. First of all I’m a bigger slob than both of my kids put together and I also play my music much louder than either one of them although it is by necessity because my hearing is not the best these days. I have no excuse about being a slob though. Anyway, I hope you all like the song and sorry I'm so long winded.
