Don't give up! What if he'd given up before he got that good??
Nice link
Blew my socks off. Posted same link twice. Check the second one now. I'm afraid to pick my guitar up.....
wow, who is this guy
These guitar aces
Give me 50percent inspiration and 50percent desperation. Not necessarily in that order.
I pick up my guitar and think........Is this the same instrument lol
Ark
Thats some real Jedi Knight stuff there........
Yeah. A friend sent an Andy McKee clip to me a few months ago. I forwarded it to my sister, who's been playing longer than Andy McKee has been alive. Her only comment was YOWZER!!!
I think it's wonderful to see how differently people are blessed. It's tough to imagine someone playing like that without there being some sort of special gifting of talent.

Ah God Alvee,
Wouldn't that guy just make you sick with so much talent?
Ive just spent the last hour few hours, going from practise to chordie!
I think ill just put my baby away and go back to the Whistle!
That just ruined my glorious God Given Sunday!
Now i want to comfort eat.

Andy McKee is a prime example of what hard work, focused discipline, and inate talent can bring about. I think everyone gets intimidated from vituosos but one day, the virtuosos were very much like the average person. What makes them stand out is their relentless work ethic and inner desire to constantly improve. And maybe some magical fairy dust sprinkled on them from spirits of deceased virtuoso musicians. Voodoo powder................

Sorry Old Doll. Yeah it kinda had that effect on me. I'm glad to report that I've gotten over it quickly and am more than happy with the little ability I've got. As Zurf says, it's amazing to see how people are blessed. After an uplifting Sunday of my own I am happy to give thanks for the blessings I have in abundance around me.
Love and life,
Al
P.S. Did I see you on Facebook's Chordie Group?
Take it as inspiration to strive to become as proficient as the video you seen. What good is all the technique in the world if you do not use it with soul and out of love of what your doing?
Bootlegger.
Its a great clip - especially like "Drifting"
Here's someone taking some of the mystery out of the magic
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FdabJ9_3YTA

Thank You Sumelton1
Your Right! No mystery here anymore. Just learned all that while still

Alvee!
to answer your question " Yes" I never did join any site till Chordie.
Never ever thought id be posting and still involved with Chordie so long!
Then i was requested to Face book and Myspace.
Chordie is still my Favourite, and as everything in life has a time scale sure
Ill enjoy this as long as its meant to last?
Old Doll.
Alvee, you are right. Saw him playing in such away that he seems to become one with his guitar.
I confess that I play now for 30 years, since always at home, I play a lot, and I am proud today seeing and feeling my progression, I even play really good (people told me) using a pick, or and my fingers and a pick. But watching that guy, I like to burn my guitars.
I never heard about him, is he popular in the States?
It is horrible to compare myself with him. I am petrified.
WooooW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh great only ten more years of practice!!!!!!!!!!!
How do people come up with this s**t. It's awsome.
Printable words fail me ....
Practise, practise, practise, for another 20 year, and maybe shave my hair off and grow a beard !
By that time it'll be too late.
Amazing.
