What's your favourite finish?

1) Goldtop - what do you mean it's kitsch? why are you wearing sunglasses?

2) Natural - cos like wood should not be hidden or restricted man...

3) Sunburst - in yer face and bright, none of that tobacco-burst nonsense.

4) Relic - who scratched my replica?

5) Black - cos the music should do the talking.

6) White - worn by good guys.

For me the finish depends on the wood...I have a Les Paul with a red transparent finish that is awesome! But the wood has a beautiful grain structure. I've always liked the standard sunburst for strat type guitars...I bought my Telecaster new (twenty five years ago) and got it with the yellow finish. Everything else was used and bought for sound and value rather than color choice.

I'm not too crazy about Gold Tops but do have a Wolfgang with the Gold...don't particularly like the finish but love the guitar...this might be a custom paint project later.

Middleaged Redneck sorta guy who refuses to grow up...passion for music, especially Southern Rock but like bout everything cept Gangsta/Hip Hop. Collect guitars, mandolins, and love to ride Harleys.

COLOUR?? well I never stood still about colours. I have a Fender Stratocaster 1964, in the most used colour, and only at that moment, I noticed that an Olympic White or Candy red was a few 1000$ more expensive. I have a sunburst.
Another guitar is GIBSON LES PAUL CUSTOM, I have a black Custom from 1968, the first year they started again.
Most of my guitars are black, but my favourite colour is WHITE.
