you could try 'smells like teen spirit' by nirvana.

it'smainly just power chords and you'd only ened a distortion pedal for the sound.

then i think it's at the end of the last verse or something there's a small solo that's not too hard to play

A easy song to play is Seven Nation Army by White Stripes. Its a easy song to play and hard to get wrong. But there are some tabs there that dont sound anything like it. So got to get a few versions and see which one is better.
