Topic: Too Busy-a song I scribbled down before I went to bed last night
Okey Dokey so here's another one from my notebook, very unpolished but I think it has some potential..... suggestions and even constructive criticism would be appreciated.
Im thinking it should have a bluesish type sound.
TOO BUSY
I was too busy writing a song about it
To do anything about it at the time
I wasn't concerned
About how to make it work
I was concerned about how to make it rhyme
CHORUS
But I guess it aint so bad after all
After all I'll probly do it all again
i don't know if I am right or wrong
But I heard the other sinners shout amen
I was too busy playin' the blues
to get them when they came around
I wasn't listenin'
When they tried to come in
I was listnin' to that guitar sound
(go to chorus)
I was too busy havin' a good time
To notice how much it slipped away
I wasn't countin' the years
When they dissapeared
But I was countin' ona few more yesterdays
