Topic: WHAT IS A CHAPMAN STICK?

On my search to find RAINSONG guitars, I saw a few videos on youtube about people playing a CHAPMANSTICK.
Who is familiar with this strange instrument, sounding like a guitar.
I found also that there are different kinds, from 6 strings to 7... 12

The Chapman Stick is a guitar-like instrument & can have varying amounts of strings.  It is played by a two handed tapping of the strings against the fretboard rather than plucking them.  The only time I've ever seen one live was when I went to see Led Zeppelin bassist John Paul Jones & there was a guy with him called Nick Beggs is probably one of the world's best exponent of this particular instrument.

Do you know music stores who sell this instrument? I am going to search for the price and dealers, and will put the information here.
