Hi legate,
Thanks for posting this song.
I think it's good and really expressive. Nice and easy to play as all the best songs are.
I can well understand why its popular with friends.
Well done

Regards

Arkady

Hi David,

Lovely but tragic song, I am not surprised about it's popularity. A personal and different song at a loved one's funeral make the ceremony special.

Thank you,

Roger

Very touching, legate.  A 2-minute song can be a far more moving eulogy than a 20-minute speech.  I can see why people request this often - it is so very honest.

Ah Legate,
Just finding this gem now!

I have no fear! I peacefully await to pass on and meet all the wonderful people who have made my simple  life worthwhile.

Beautiful Piece of work.. Thank You.

Hey Dave - I wrote a song a while back about a similar experience I had when my cousin passed away. It is tough dealing with all the emotions and thoughts that are going on when you experience something like this and I think you've done your friend proud. I would really love to hear this one if you get the chance to record it.

David
I must have missed this one.
Just noticed it since it was highlighted with new replies.

Very nice song, well written and to me this is what a lot of song writing is all about. From the heart!

Good stuff
