Topic: New feature?

I would like to have a new feature. As I see it there are several databases that is searched when I look for songs, because of the different layouts in the songs. I like one, and only one: The one with the song text and the blue letters of chords.


It would be nice to have a search feature that ONLY displayed those types of songs (Which I guess is from ONE database). I really hate those ugly ones from ultimate guitar and so on..


This shoulnd't be too hard to implement, but should make me alot happier! Someone agrees?

Chordie indexes lots of databases, and formats the songs on the fly. It does a very good job with so called chopro-files, and a fairly good job with plain text files.

If it is not able to format the song, it will be presented as plain text (no layout). Im improving this algorithm all the time, and more songs are being formatted all the time.

It is very hard to hide all none formatted songs, but Im working on several mechanisms to remove/report malformatted songs.

hate to crash your party but the blue ones are starting to hurt my eyes. im starting to like plain text better
