Topic: Scales. Help needed.

Okay, I've been playing for 4 years, and I still don't know scales, and I'd love to be able to solo over chords etc, but I just CAN'T do it.


I figured, if I learnt the scales, it might help me.


Any tips, on how to, and also how to understand scales, would be SO GREATLY appreciated.

just get a book on music theory i got one and its done wonders for my music theory

get one that has the scales, modes, chord theory, alterations, key signitures,

well i cant find mine but ill look for it

just look at your local music store
