Topic: NUMB

Lately, I haven't written anything at all. It's as if I've been drained of all the words. I sometimes try to write and push myself to produce something worth repeating, but it's just not possible. Maybe I need to try a changeover

Below is a short poem I wrote around 5 years back

The words that I never spoke
Haunt me as nightmares
Where I choke
Where I succumb
I could struggle
I would, if I wasn't NUMB

I find myself smiling at your (5 year old ) poems, they're great. I sometimes find writing words on a sheet of paper a real struggle. So, I just forget about writing until something someone says or a song on the radio or even an event strikes a chord with me and finally I write something I'm happy with. Grah said the same thing last week, the scariest thing a writer can see is a blank sheet of paper

I seem to be in a hurry to post all my poems here; as I've never received any feedbacks on them before.......it's a really satisfying seeing someone share any critique!

Writer's block is scary tho!
