Topic: Going, Going, Gone

Song I started writing last night - went  to bed  and couldn't sleep.   

got up at 4:30 and started working on it again -   finally finished it  smile


These are the chords and lyrics

I use a walk down on 5th string  - b,c then the C  chord on all of  the verse lines like the first line would be b on the word "on", and c on the word "the".  (lol - I think that' right!)

Once again, some clever lyrics and song writing skills Jim.  A sad song but one that would touch the heart of anyone going through relationship difficulties.

Another clever lyrically written song Jim . When I saw the title I was thinking about how our Auctioneers down in this part of the world say, "going going gone"  before dropping their  gavel to confirm the winning successful bid.     In your song it takes on a different meaning.

I agree with all the above. You are a fine lyricist Jim. I feel this is more country than your last venture into the rock genre, BTW I'll send the finished track tonight hopefully.
