The short answer is "no" there is not way to do a conversion. However, from experience, the archaic Do Re Mi system is cumbersome and not easy to use. All my students here in Portugal, where solfeggio system is used, have said how much easier the modern A, B, C notation is to use once learnt. So I would suggest time spent the newer system is time well spent,
