Topic: New (to me) Guitar Day

A friend was selling this mid 90's Fender DG-4CE NAT electro-acoustic. There are a couple of scratches on it but it is not bad. I straightened the neck, lowered the bridge, oiled the fret board, fitted new strings (Nashville) now it plays easily and sounds great. I am very pleased with my buy. Roger

Re: New (to me) Guitar Day

Welcome back Roger, we missed you. Nice guitar, are you going to post a track so we can hear it?

Ask not what Chordie can do for you, but what you can do for Chordie.

That is a beauty - definitely a keeper.
Glad you are satisfied.

I agree with Phill as well - so glad have you on here again and I would love to also hear the guitar.

Re: New (to me) Guitar Day

I must admit, back in the 90's I was always "Fenders for electric, Matons for acoustic" type person, but I tried one of their acoustics and it was pretty darn nice. It's a nice looking guitar as well, hope you find many hours of enjoyment with it.

Look forward to hearing some tunes from it!

BTW the Nashville tuning sounds interesting - what do you use it for?

Cheers

Re: New (to me) Guitar Day

I always keep some sets of D'Addario EJ38H for my Nashville tuned guitars (I now have two Nashville tuned, two standard tuned and one 12er in acoustic guitars).
