Topic: Remember these folks ?

I was just thinking today as I was strumming my guitar aimlessly.  and began to think about people on chordie since I joined and now don't see them post much.

The ones I was thinking about were

Moderators
mekidsmom (Amy)  her and Jan (Kikijan)have such wonderful voices and Amy helped me a lot when I first joined.

Arkady
Jets60
Russell Harding was a great resource on guitars

Doug Smith

Roger Guppy - had such a unique style of playing - covered a song or two of mine

others

Badeye - from Nova Scotia I believe
Top Down - always held Chordie stocks in Florida
Zurf  some great songs posted
Beamer - the metalizer - always enjoyed his videoes playing with his son
Dirty Ed - I believe he was from Ohio - went to Amy's get togethers I think

JJJ the king of Bread machines and ownership of loads of guitars
UncleJoe's Band - always posted cool music
Bald Guitar Dude - always posted good stuff

Jerome - from Louisiana - very knowledgeable on a lot of musical stuff

Of course last, but not least - the indomitable Bill  ( Strummerboy)   - He was battling with his loving and supporting wife Dondra against the dreaded dementia.  I wish him peace wherever he is - he was so knowledgeable - I learned a lot from him.

anyways - those were the ones I remembered off the top of my head.  Phill probably can remember a bunch more.

I hope that if anybody on this list happens to read it, they will take the time to drop by and say hello if they are able.

A shout out to Easybeat for all his efforts on his binge bombardment - it has been a lot of fun - I hope it keeps going.  That is how it was when I first joined - many multiple posts nearly every night - from all over the place.

Chordie has been such a great find for me.  I appreciate all the guys and gals on here that support music and poor wannabee musicians like myself.  Thank you.

Cheers to you all!

Jim

Tig
thanks for your comments,i have lots of music questions.but its hard to get answers.
i`ve got a couple of days to go on the blitz, after that we will see what happens, seeing my name
on chordie all the time looks like i`m doing it for an ego thing.i never wanted it to be all about me.
hence i haven`t bored anyone with my songs, but a few poems have popped into my head so i
posted them just to get my number of posts up.

Eb, what’s the point of staying invisible when you can be visible????? If you don’t plant seeds nothing will grow.

Thanks to you Jim, and everyone who has become part of the chordie community present and past for educating me through sharing their different outlooks on music. This is something that has helped me to see another aspect of humanity at its best. Not saying we are Saints on here but in the spirit of everyday people's guitar music I'm sure we are all sinners with a good heart. Rock on my friends.
