Ok, for MARCH 2023 FSOTM we have some WORDS and an ORIGINAL POEM/SONG and another SONG from some MEMBERS of CHORDIE.

I performed this song Get Lucky in January this year at our acoustic club, although the original is pretty synth laden, it transfers across to acoustic guitar quite nicely, although I did rearrange some of it to suit better. Hope you enjoy:

Hey neophytte, I have never ever heard that song before, but I have to say, it was one of your best performances yet!  You nailed it vocally and instrumentally and you owned it.   Well done smile

Here is my entry for this month.  Started off as a poem as I couldn't find a song with the word `Outrage`.  So, I sat and wrote a poem.   Then with a few changes it become a song.  So, this is only the 3rd song I have ever written, completed and performed.  It`s pretty basic, I can hear a part that needs an echo in it but of course with the none of the right equipment, I wasn't able to put the echo in where it needed to go.  I think if this had proper music backing it, it would sound much better than on a ukulele.

Yep, gotta agree with Jim, vocals were slightly low in the mix, though - heard them better when I listened the 2nd time ....

i have been busy around the house my self and working a new song of my own  will try to get something before the end of the month
